Beaver Fall Sleepover

Dear Parents,

The beavers will be having our sleepover on Friday, Nov 22 at 7:00 pm until Saturday, Nov 23 at 7:30 am.  For some Beavers, this will be their first time away from home (without their parents), and will be an important experience to prepare for the upcoming Winter Camp.

Event: Beaver Winter Sleepover

Place: Richmond Hill United Church

10201 Yonge Street,
Richmond Hill, Onario, Canada, L4C 3B2

Drop off Date & Time: Friday, Nov. 23 at 7:00 pm

Pick up Date & Time: Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7:30 am

Cost: $10 per Beaver (Includes rental for the church, a night-time snack, craft materials, etc)

If there are any circumstances that the Beaver Leaders should be aware of (e.g. washroom schedules), please let the leaders know.  Beavers are to show up to the sleepover in full uniform, and should participate in the packing of their bags so that they can find things easily.  Please ensure that your child has an extra change of clothing just in case of “accidents”.

Please note that dinner will not be served, so please have your child eat before coming to the Sleepover. A snack will be served later on in the night, and breakfast will be served on the following morning.  If your child is ill, please have him/her stay home.

There may be chances that we will be taking the Beavers outside to enjoy the weather, so please make sure your child dresses accordingly.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Scouter Esther.

Sincerely,

10th Richmond Hill Scouts Group

P.S. Please inform us of any allergies or medication that your child may have to help us plan better.

P.P.S. Please note that you do not need to go to Silver Stream P.S. on November 22 regardless of whether or not your child will be attending the sleepover.
